Skyline variations?

Will there be any? I really really like the blade shape and handle shape of the skyline. I would love to see it in a framelock though (preferably titanium). I like the grippiness of the g10 but I cant close it 1 handed like I can with a framelock such as the leek.

i think variations are always welcome in my mind, but wouldn't it kinda defeat the purpose of the skyline's incredible price point? not saying they shouldn't, but just i don't see it happening.

Yeah well they can still sell the standard model at a great price point, but I think there would be interest in more expensive sprint runs. I like the model as is but I would also be willing to pay considerably more for a variation with premium materials.

I would love to see variations in the form of different sizes. I think this straightforward, simple design could make a great replacement for the old Liner Action series. I'm thinking a 5" closed and 3" closed version would accentuate the original nicely.

I think it would be awesome if a larger frame lock version were made. Not necessarily fancy or high end, more of a knife worthy of the ZT line at a regular Kershaw price.

The only variation on the table to would be this one, but no determination has been made as of today. MSRP would be right at $74.95. It would be a 14C28N/CPM-D2 Composite Blade.

I think that blade with a little CF in the handles would be nice, and not
raise the MSRP too much. :)

OHHHHH! Thatsa nice. It gives me a tingling inside justa like a spicy meata ball!!

My Skyline has been in my back pocket since the day it arrived;), and I think this one would be a great addition.

I really like my Skyline as I am partial to G10 and thin sharp knives. This is an astounding value in a quality knife. I recomend it highly. I will like to see this in a composite blade. This knife slices right on par with my ENRG-2 small. Love the size of the Skyline. Good EDC.

That would look great with carbon fiber slabs. I may make some up to see what it looks like.

Thomas, have you guys done any more testing on the composite blades to see if a less wavy bond is strong enough? It would be really cool to have some knives with smooth flowing lines, like the one pictured here.
