Skyline vs tenacious edge retention.

Ive narrowed my search down to 2 knives that are going to be my new edc knife. THe final deciding factor for them is edge retention which one is better for multi purpose cutting. Thanks guys

Either one would be great for multi purpose cutting. I don't think you will see much difference in edge retention between those two steels (if the skyline is sandvik). The sandvik may hold an edge slightly better but probably not enough to be noticeable to the average user and both are cheap enough to use and not worry too much about damaging it.



If I were you I would get them both and rotate them when one needs sharpening.
