Slasiski Kids hawk as fighter...

I was looking at Slasinski tomahawks at Ragweed Forge ( http://www.ragweedforge.com/Throwin....html#slasinski ) and I thought the Kids hawk looked like a really good idea for a fighting hawk. It's light weight would make it easy to carry and reall fast, plus the thin head would make penetration very good. Any ideas about the use of a lightweight hawk such as this in lieu of a fighting knife? Does the extra weight make that much of a difference against soft targets? It seems to have reach and utility advantages as well. Does anyone have one of these?

How about making a kydex shoulder sheath? Concealed carry with a hawk- awesome.
