I am really impressed with the SLCC Design and just had Scott Moore order one for me in BG 42. Does it come with the knot tied on the butt end, as in the TAD pictures? If not, is it complicated to do?

Also, in addition to the slip sheath, would it be possible to procure a sheath with the teklok attachment?

Their a ways off though.

The sheath works with the teklok already.

What would you say are the benefits to each of the material types used in the SLCC - BG42, Talonite and Titanium?

Given the choice which would you carry?

Mine is Talonite.
The Ti is VERY light. It's not super sharp. It works well as a defensive tool.
The Talonite is light and SHARP! Won't rust, blah...blah...
The BG is light strong and sharp. Will rust. Does have a magnetic signature. Doesn't have purple tiger stripes.

I have one of the prototype jackets. I love it.

Thanks for that - I am getting one of the Prototype Talonite SLCCs that you sent to TAD last week.

What is the pouch shown in your picture and does it come with the knife?

To answer your original question, yes it comes with the lanyard / knott attached. I have just taken delivery of a Talonite version from TAD.

I will post some thoughts when I have had a play.

I just my SLCC tigerstriped talonite and titanium you see from the TAD post before, Both are prototypes and only tiger striped ones around.:D
Will see if I can get a picture out.
