Looking into purchasing one and was wondering how you guys like them?
Any issues with carry? How well in general does the sheath work conSEALed? Any suggestions for purchasing one (need ASAP).

It is awesome. I have a Talonite one. I carried it extensively in Central America recently. Mine is custom sheathed by Skunkworks. I usually carry it as either a neck knife or tucked into my waistband and static corded around my belt. I am planning on getting a more "tactical" one in BG42. I also found that it carries well in my GPS case for my Handspring Visor for very discreet carry.

I've got one in BG42 that I carry daily. It's the easiest knife to conceal that I own. I've carried as a neck knife, tucked IWB with a static cord as mentioned above and it conceals real well in my wallet(check book style). I've also used the static cord method to carry it in my right front pocket. It's a really great design.

Nyeti,
Is there a "tactical" version?

My Talonite one is wrapped with purple cord-it looks fairly "sporting". The next one will be a beater to take the place of a folder on one of my load out rigs to back up my Ajax. I like the version I have for travel-no corrosion, and it looks fairly mundane, and it does alot of stuff well. The BG-42 will be used for "work"-thus my "tactical" designation. The Talonite one will stay as a travel and sporting blade.

10-4,
I may have one here shortly. Potentially stupid question but how are you guys using the static cord with the SLCC?

I just take the loop from the bottom of the sheath (for neck carry), pass it through my belt, or a belt loop, and then pull the knife and sheath through the loop so the cord is now attached to my belt or belt loop. Then I just stuff the sheath into my waistband and drop a shirt over it. You can then just pull the blade out whil still in the sheath. At some point you will come to the end of your draw and the sheath is dangling from its attachment point, and the blade is in your hand ready to go.

SLCC hard find but it comes with a cool hair braid lanyard thingy perfect for drool inducement

Ok,
Got one! Very bad ass! I need to make some sort of clip for the sheath since I rarely wear a belt while out running... any ideas?

You don?t need a clip.
Here?s what to do.
1. Make the loop a few inches larger than your waist. Step into the loop like a belt, stuff the knife in your waistline. It holds well. If it slips, it is just inside your pants.
2. Take the same size loop, stuff one arm and your head through the loop. It will hang in your armpit just above your belt line. I don?t recommend ?neck? carry.

Those are the two ways I usually carry the thing. Choice 2 may work better for running.

Hope all is well

Mine was shipped today. I bought the jacket from TAD and it has an internal loop to facilitate ease of withdrawal.

Mick,
The SLCC works great! I have another suggestion and this is how I am currently wearing the SLCC while out running.
1.Take the cord and run it through the sheath bottom with loose ends out.
2.Find a cord-lock and use it to secure the two loose ends around your midsection.
3.Pull the loose ends snug & stuff sheath in waistband.
Never moves! The handle curve "hooks" on the waistband and it is fast...very fast to deploy! :)

Now I need to figure out a good way to carry it in my front pocket.
The static cord method works ok for this but it moves around way too much.
