I've done it, have you?

You know what I'm talking about; whipping out that hunk of INFI only to perform some trivial or mundane task that could have just as easily, if not better, been performed by a 49 cent knife.

Recent examples that come to mind are the bagel cutting and butter spreading with the Natural Outlaw or the sandwich halfing with the Basic 5.

It's not that I seek to kill flies with a sledgehammer or anything, but if I happen to have a Busse with me  and there is a task that needs to be done ...

Opening mail and making PBJs are the kind of mundane tasks that my DWMS is subjected to frequently:D

Wow:eek: , you only use a mean street for that???

At a minimum, I go for the Satin Jack 1/4" in cases such as you describe!

I use my Badger or ZT SH for many things that could be handled by a smaller knife, but it is just plain fun using the Busse. :D

However, I have to admit, I have never used one to prepare food. Maybe I'll cut up the Easter ham with my BM and see how it goes ;):D:D

Eric, Parting out an Oven Stuffer with a Satin Jack is pure pleasure.

Glad I'm not the only one one who does this stuff, carved the Xmas duck with a sword LOL. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to wait awhile yet for that first moment of INFInite pleasure. Hope to join you guys soon!!!

after a night of intense Crown Royal, waking up and lathering
up my face with Noxema Extra Rich shaving cream...then shaving
with my Battle Mistress

I still get "the look" when I whip out INFI for day to day chores. But, never complained when I'm building or tearin down.

The best reason to use the Sledge Hammer on a fly is to be sure that the fly has no misconceptions about your determination....

Busse. Leave adequate behind.

Mike

Strabs, what i meant was that the chores you described are clearly of a level that would allow use of a BIGGER Busse.
