In your opinion what Busse blade is a bargain today and in 5 years everyone will be scrounging for them?

There are a few in my opinion
1) INFI AK's

2) CG FBM's

3) I'm not telling this one until I have more of them.... ;)

:D:D

Heavy Heart Fusion Steel Hearts (doh!) :foot:

I have owned almost 5% of them at one time or another... :D

Agreed on all three counts. I should have bought a dozen HH's.

I def agree with your first two.

1)SFNO, its already in hi demand

2)FSH they will get much harder to get at a reasonable price as time goes on.

3) Leaner meaner street. You dont see many floating around now, imagine 6 years from now..

I agree with the CG FBM.

But when they are finally gone number one will be the Game Warden. It is just too good of a user and some were very limited production.

Also I'm grossly pissed that I had to toss back my two sets of AD's and MS's from the recent ganza:mad: Those will be up there too.

forsure the AK47 and in a few more years the FBM. After the summer and people see how great a chopper the FBM is, i think more people are going to want one.

Crap, who am I kidding. Anything that you can buy now from the Shop or the Company Store is going to be highly sought after in 5 years

:D:D

I'm not buyin for future selling. I'm buyin to use/fondle at this point. Heck, I'm looking at my INFI-dogs and wondering why I have them. They look nice, but to me, a GW is a better small knife, the mudder handle is smoother and softer than I would have imagined, and that honkin-choil on a small knife just doesn't do it for me. Gimme a GW or a HRLM at that point. I might toss BOTH of mine back in the fray. . . and then kick myself 5 years from now. LOL

BUT, to answer the question: I dunno. AK's for sure. But I can't see someone paying $1,200 for a $400 CGFBM in 5 years. I watch people put up $800-1,200 knives now and I don't see people TRAMPLING themselves over them. Sure there is interest, but DANG!

AK because of uniqueness. CGFBM's are ubiquitous now, but might not be in 5 years. I think the BATACs were not sold in HUGE quantity and might be the sleeper-cell of em all.

I think we're going to see a surge in demand for ergo-era blades. The odder, small ones (Groove Master, Public Defender, Buffalo Soldier, etc.) will be WOW pieces when they surface from time to time. Satin Jacks will be in high demand - on par with today's straight-handled badgers.

From watching the For Sale forums I think that the GM, PD, BS and BA3 are already at the "WOW" level. Hopefully they'll continue to gain in popularity

:D:D

The AK, as long as Dave Brown keeps doing cool pics and videos of his crazy AK-antics  :D

The one that has me a little puzzled is the MOFOs and Uncle MOFOs, I think they are one of the best profiles and grinds out there, but they still sell relatively cheap and I can't figure out why.

I'll bet any knife that is part of a military run, as the vets get out of service, will fetch a major premium down the road. Look what Gerber MK IIs that were actually in Vietnam fetch (let alone Randalls). Imagine what Busses that were in theatre will bring.

Hell and Mud Razors. Same size and the SFNO, less belly, more pointy. I love mine in Mags.

Unfortunately, I usually only keep one of a particular model (unless another is a variant) and, even if value goes up, it only means I'll need that much more money to buy one if I sell/lose mine! ;)
