Sleeve rig for bali ( someone was making one )

Hi All

There was somebody here that was working on a sleeve rig and they said I could have a copy of the plans once done. Just wondering if there has been any progress?
Not trying to be a nag

Actually trying to make one myself.

Rent the movie "Taxi Driver" starring Robert DeNiro. They show some good shots of him building one out of a drawer rail and random junk. He makes it for a gun of course, not a knife, the the idea is there. Good luck!

Super-quick sleeve rig:

Take a Tensor-brand type wrist bandage, the rubbery type with the velcro closure. Trim it lengthwise to fit through the vertical-carry loop on your pouch/sheath. Cut the threads holding the fuzzy patch of velcro (the loops, not the hooks). Sew that patch onto the end of the bandage, and slide the strip through the vertical-carry loop on the pouch/sheath. Wrap it around yr. forearm, roll yr. sleeve back down, and presto!

May need to adjust length to fit yr. forearm, & works best with a pouch or sheath where the belt loop is centred, as is the case with most nylon/fabric pouches. Save a couple of bucks & use a generic no-name tension bandage rather than tensor brand name.

Not really a proper "rig," but will get the job done for not a lot of $.

edit: Has worked very well for me with a stiff KISS. May take a while to find the right tension so you're not cutting off circulation.

Disclaimer: Not recommended for persons in places or situations where concealed carry is naughty.
