I trained with Sleiman at the hombu this morning and he really seemed to like the HI kerambit.
I think he wants one.
We did a lot of kool moves with it today..
Better add another name to the list!

It's better to be the one dishing it out with the kerambit than the one on the receiving end...

From a purley practical perspective, it's smooth to operate with and it glides quite naturally over bodyparts that are getting in the way ;) It also fits quite comfortably in the hands so that it feels as if you don't really have a knife in one's hands. On a personal level, I felt that a smaller tool would fit a tad more comfortably with me (after all, Danny IS 12 ft, 900 lbs :D )

Good job Big D. :)

How about that, my first post about knives.

Welcome to the Cantna, sleiman. Nice folks around here for the most part, though some have atrocious senses of what they call "humor". Just don't fall into the water during a feeding frenzy.

Otherwise, kick back, pull up a chair round the cracker barrel and join in. Just be advised that it's best to label your opinions as opinions, and facts as facts since there's a bunch of folks round here who really have been there and done that. On just about any subject.

As to how to treat others, the Nepali greeting "Namaste" ( or "I salute the god within you" ) is about as good a guide as anything. Or "Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est." Translates roughly to "Where there is charity and love, there also is God."

BTW: teasing is expected - just so it doesn't draw blood most of the time.

really though, the kerambit flowed into the techniques very well.
it hides well and slides well and is a genuine combat blade.
I think this design is genius.
i wouldnt change a thing.
