Since I've been getting some questions about Sleipner steel (it's not widely used) I use for some of my knives, I made this short video using one of my knives and some stuff I found lying around my shop. It's 1/4" Sleipner knife HT'd to 60-61 hrc, with 0.7 mm behind the edge. The edge got of course damaged very slight chipping in one place, but mostly roll, nothing that couldn't be easily fixed, even with some stone lying about if you are outdoors (not that you get to cut bricks while hiking:)).
