Here's my latest one.

It's a small all purpose knife made from 1.2842 (O-2). The micarta scales are ground quite thin but it's nervertheless very comfortable to handle.

I will take this to a knife show here in Germany and hope that I'll find a new owner for it there. My knifemaking money is running low again lately ;).

I will supply some specs later on.

Looking forward to your comments.

Thanks a lot for your nice comment untamed.

The specs of the knife are:

overall: 20 cm
blade: 9,5 cm

Regards Marcus

I finally made a sheath for the knife.

And to keep up the slender and thin topic of the knife I made the sheath as thin as possible (2 cm at the the thickest point).

I hope you like it :).

That`s a beauty, Marcus!

Seems to be very well made and really handy. Sheath is very nice as well!
Is it the hammer-in at Markus Balbach`s where you gonna sell this knife?

Greets,

Wolfgang

Thanks a lot for the compliment, Wolfgang.

It was at the Schanz meeting in Friedrichstal, Stutensee and a lot of people told me how nice the knife is but no one wanted to buy it in the end. At the show knife sales were generally slow as there were more other knifemakers visiting than actual knifebuyers  .

Now I made the sheath and offered it on the german forums, but still no one seems to be interested.

I reduced the price quite a bit, as there are several small flaws in the knife, as it was my first tapered tang.

My guess is that the knifegod want's to prevent that such flawed work leaves my shop ;) :D .

So I assume that it will be my own user from now on :).

Regards Marcus

Had a table at Jürgen`s too!;) :D
Sold some vintage Klaas and Brückmann knives from my collection.

Will have a look at messerforum for your knife.
Guess if price is ok it will not take that long to sell! Good luck!

Greets,

Wolfgang (Wrangler)
