How is the slicing performance on ZT 0562 vs the 0561?

I have the 0561, considering adding the 0562. But it would help make the decision vs a couple of other choices if the 0562 has a slightly better blade geometry for slicing.

You probably wouldn't find much of a difference between the two at all, maybe the 0562 has slightly (and i mean slightly) better cutting geometry due to the slicer grind vs the regular droppoint-ish grind of the 0561.

The 0562 does have slightly better slicing geometry than the 0561.

If you would like much better slicing geometry you might look at FFG Spydercos. But the 0562 totally nails slightly better.

I love my ZTs, by the way.

Having had both knives, I can say they kinda slice like bricks. I mean not as bad as a Medford, but they are fat behind the edge. That said, the 562 is noticeably thinner behind the edge, while still thick enough to be called fat.

That's kinda my experience with the 0561. Love the knife, just looking for another all purpose blade slightly lighter, and better slicing performance.
