Some of the knife manufacturers in Seki, Japan have gotten together and developed some super knives in collaboration with some great designers (Bob Lum and Darrell Ralph are two of them.) These products are high end and some of them are absolutely gorgeous. You can preview them at http://www.seki-cut.com with everything but prices. Just a heads up on a slick new brand. Take care.

They all look outstanding, especially the Rhino and the Encounter. Will you be carrying this line?

And is it me, or is Darrel Ralph the collaboration king? He's like the town whore! :D

P.S. Fred, your new website layout is outstanding!

Town whore. Darrel Ralph. OK, not the mental image I wanna have :p :D LMAO

Try and post a mental image of Darrel Ralph, dressed as a geisha, preparing sushi with a MaddMaxx. Now, as the warm sake floods your brain, concentrate on this image and....:barf: No offense intended to the "big man" himself, just a thought I had to share:eek:

Great. You just ruined any intimate time with the wife.

Now every time I look at her, I see Darrel's face whispering, "try this as your EDC, big boy."

*shudder*

P.S. We love you, Darrel!

You guys who call Darrel Ralph a whore probably buy his production knives. More top notch designers should collaborate. The reality is most people are not millionaires. Darrel Ralph is giving us top quality knives at an affordable price.

If anything, I'd like Darrel to become a bigger whore!

Seriously, I think it was all in good fun. I doubt anyone who appreciates a good knife would seriously bash Mr. Ralph. I can only speak for myself, but I'd love to see even more collaborations from him. I like to think I'm in the majority on this one.

Get a grip man, it was a joke! I agree with AtomicZero wholeheartedly, I'd love to see more collaborative efforts. Particularly if the manufacturing is like what is shown here. I also noticed that we'll be looking at some nice Al Mar ressurections. This makes me VERY happy, because trying to find the origionals is:

A)A major league pain in the ass!

B)Outrageously freakin' expensive

BTW I own 4 Darrel Ralph knives!
I want Darrel to be the biggest knifewhore, slut, hooker, hosebag that he can be. Which is pretty BIG!
BTW this is also a joke for those who don't get it!:D

Courtesan not Whore, the man just doesn't do his thing for just any cheap client and his work is of much higher quality than some back alley cutler (not that some other's don't qualify for the "honors").

I stand corrected. I like that, knife courtesan. Perhaps Cutlery Courtesan would be more aprapos. No, I finally have it!The Collosal Cutlery Courtesan

Thanks for the link Fred.., some really nice stuff...
