Slickness of Carbon Fiber Civilian Handle

The carbon fiber Civilian has been out for a while and I was curious about any observations concerning the slickness of its handle. I already own an aluminum handled model, one with a G-10 handle, and a Matriarch. I am thinking about buying a carbon fiber model to round out the set but am concerned that the slabs might not give a good grip. I like to own users and wouldn't buy a knife just for the sake of a collection.

By the way, I think the Civilian is one of the best designed knives around. Thanks in advance for your help.

I was prepared for it to be very slippery but I was suprised to find that there is something about the polished CF that gives it an impression of "tackiness" -- even if your hands are a little damp. It gives as good a grip as textured G10 in my opinion.

The Civilian handle is a good design especially for gripping. The polished CF can be slippery at times but I'll take it any day over roughed because of it's inherent beauty. It's gorgeous stuff when polished and IMHO is very ugly when left roughed up.

Thanks to all for the advise on the Civilian. I just ordered one. It would have been hard to let this one get away.
