Slight blade mod question

I have a case mini copperlock with a clip blade. I really prefer a straight clip over the sort of upswept curve they have. Is there an easy way to modify it? Maybe something like a file? The most I've ever done to a blade filing down a kick so the blade wouldn't catch on anything. Not sure if it's worth attempting or not. Any thoughts on this?

I know what you mean. A file can do it. Be careful how much you take off. Maybe clamp it in a vise to file it. Then use sandpaper to blend it in. DM

Wrap it in blue paints tape, clamp it firmly in a vise, and use a diamond needle file to smooth it out.

Or get some 800, 1200 and 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper and a tile, scrap piece or marble counter top, or anything that has a true flat surface.

Wrap the paper around the material, so it is flat and taught, and go to work. Rinsing and adding more water as needed.

Go up in grits to reduce your scratch marks and get back to near polish. Once you are through the 2k grit, you can polish it back to mirror with some metal polish, like mothers or comparable.
