Slight modifications

Sometimes I find the keychain link to just get in the way. So I went and turned these pioneers into soldiers. Finished the black one yesterday. I still keep them on some of my others, depends on how often I use the knife.

Trying to resist the urge to get an electrician or harvester since they'd already be in good order.

Thanks. Ya, they came out pretty decent. The aluminum ones are a bit easier to take off than the steel rings on most 91mms. I just use a hack-saw, and then a metal file, or a small nail file seemed to work on the aluminum actually to get in more precisely.

And thats as far as Im skilled enough to go for 'modding."

I bought an electrician because I hated the lanyard ring on my farmer. I prefer the electrician now after using it for a while. That extra blade comes in handy way more than the saw. The can opener was never used. That lanyard ring always bugged me.
