Hah, I guess that answers that. I was just wondering if people actually use their BASs or do they buy it, display it, and then buy a villager to use? I picked up a blem some time ago and have been using it for all sorts of things when I realized it no longer looks quite so pretty.

The BAS is an awesome camping knife, that's my go to when I'm hiking/camping. Mine is super light, made by Lok, it's 15" and 17oz
 
Some I "put away" a couple I use. The first was a Bura BAS, Uncle Bill (may he rest in peace) suggested that when I originally asked about a 12" AK. He told I'd be happier with a larger knife. As always he was correct. :) I didn't know Uncle Bill well but always enjoyed our occasional chats and messages. He is truly missed.
