slight vertical play on framelock

Hey guys, i searched around and didnt really find an absolute answer for this. I have a zt 0562 that was pretty much new when i bought it. I noticed that there is a slight amount of vertical play(not alot but noticable) if you put some force on it. Also i have noticed that when disengaging the lock it is much easier to disengage than my other framelocks.

The lock is at about 50% but i can push it over to about 80%. Also when i have used it for harder tasks, when i am done i have noticed that the lock bar moved over to about 70-80%. I have also heard that it takes some break in time but not sure if thats the case. Would it help to slightly bend the lock bar over? What would you guys do think? Do any of your zt knives have this or any other framelocks? Like i said its not alot and i love this knife, but for some reason it bothers me a lot. thanks!

Thats one I'd want to send to ZT and have them tighten it up, maybe the lock bar insert wasn't quite long enough on it. Its a pretty new knife hasn't been out very long so I'd want the lock up to be tight. Now a frame lock i've used hard for years gets loose I'll just take it apart and bend it a bit to get tighter lockup. Not a brand new one though.

Send it back; sounds like you got a dud. My past experience says ZT will make it right in a timely matter.
You'll have to go their website to fill out & print a warranty paper.
Follow their instructions and they will fix it.

Something to check is if the pivot is adjusted right. The 0562 has a steel insert so its going to disengage with no stick like a knife without it. Just a thought.
