Has Buck ever thought of making a version of both of these knives that would use the same materials but be thinner? I know that the 560 was thinner, but it was Ti. I also have seen one or two 110's done thinner. I would love to have a thin 112 to stick in my pocket and USE!

Sounds like a winning idea to me too, since the regular 110s and 112s are about as heavy as boat anchors.

Yeah. A pocket knife instead of a holster knife! Put me down for a couple. One stag and one pearl, both in BG-42. :D Racer Roy

KNOWLEDGE THAT IS NOT SHARED IS LOST.

Back up again to bug CJ and Joe! How about a Ti 112? Just like the 560, but in the 112 format.

It is always a question on do you spend the money for tooling to alter an existing knife or do you get better return letting that knife continue to sell and make incremental sales on investing in a new model that answers the consumer need.

I will forward this to engineering and see what it would take.

I'd be in for a Ti 112. I'd really like to see the 112 in the custom shop too.

As a matter of fact, collectors, Buck DID make a thin 110! It was a catalogue number 2267, model 110TS. The computer says we only sold one but I know there were more than that made. I am sure it was less than 100 pieces so they would be pretty dificult to find.
Hope this helps,

I have seen one or two of those floating around the net, never get to them in time though.
