Here is a cool fighter I just finished up. Just a nice useable shape in single edge with an unsharpened false edge. I used Tero Tuf material for the scales. The blade is made from .210 5160. It is 14in overall with a blade 8 3/8long(tip to handle). I was a little inspired by the old Desert Storm Fighters Jerry Busse made way back when :) To me it feels fast in the hand yet still tough enough to do what anything a soldier would need done with a knife. I was planning on sculpting the scales but when I started roughing them in, I really liked the feel with just the angle s ground in so I left the handle with the flat surfaces. Has a very secure feel to it.

Great design. Don't normally see your designs with large finger choil.

I like it a lot. What is the material layered in the handle material in Tertuff?

The material is nylon weave/cloth in polyester resin. It's very tough stuff :) When finished, it has a texture similar to sandblasted canvas micarta. There is a company out here in Oregon call CIP Composites and I bought the stuff from them at a local knife show.
