MAn I like this version. this has a 3 5/8" blade and thumb grooves on the top. Thinner design makes for a lighter and sleeker carry.

Great looking knife, Brian. How about a comparison photo with the regular Companion.

this makes the standard look alot larger but thats because it closer to the camera. There basicly the same size except in width.

I like it a lot. I told you before that I was going to order a knife from you sometime in the next year. Well, I think that's the one I want. I am a sucker for temper lines, green micarta and mosaic pins. Barring any financial troubles, I'll ask the wife to order one for Christmas.

That's AWESOME!!! Love it. Email or PM me the details on pricing out something like this for purchase.

Very nice Brian.
I like the thinner blade and handle , nice to have a choice in Companions , depending on one's daily needs :)

cool piece, the handle reminds me of that benchmade Rukus a bit. bet its reeel comfortable! great work!

That looks great! You have some of the best designs I've seen. Nice work.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll be making this version with a 4" blade after my move at the end of the month so I look forward to side by side pictures :)

Very nice! I have a question for you Brian, What did you use to get those fine notches on the spine?

Excellent work
Nick:)

I used a checkering file. I think I got it from texas knifemakers Supply. Sheiffields has them too.

Hey Brian--Been telling you that I will send pics of my first few knives. Very close to yours--in appearance, not execution and finish--but try to remember these are the first of many. Someone please help me find my camera!

:D get that Camera Cooter!! :D I think we all design something similar given enough time. Half the fun is going through the process I think.
