Slip cover for 503

Does anyone use a slip cover for pocket carry of their 503, 55, etc? I just ordered some from Buck, and I've never used one for pocket carry. Are they useful or more aggravation than they're worth? I usually just throw my pocket knife in my pocket with keys, change, etc., and I thought it would really help protect the knife. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I have never been able to get along with slip covers for my pocket knives. Always seemed like more trouble than they were worth to me.

No slip covers here on my 503 stag. Just put it in my pocket, no harm done. Gary
