Here is my third attempt at making a slip joint knife. This is also my first one made using my new mill. The nail nick is much more crisp and it has mill relieved liners. This one came together a lot better than the first two and I am really happy with the results. I made this one out of CPM 154 at .105" thick with stainless liners and shield. It has ivory paper micarta over black G-10 over natural canvas micarta on the handles. This is also another first for me. I created this pattern myself using other sodbuster pictures as a guide to shape and size. It measures about 3 5/8" closed. Blade is dead center when closed and it has great walk and talk with no play. Flush in all three positions and about a 7 on pull, easy enough to pinch open.

Any comments welcome and thanks for looking!

Very nice, clean lines & I really like the fact you have sunken joints - nothing to snag or get hung up in the pocket. You sir, know how to make a knife.

I like everything about this one Jared from the style of your blade and overall package to the white micarta and the natural canvas combo. It looks to be very well done and like it would be very comfortable in the pocket. Nice job keep up the good work my friend.

I love this knife! One of the best slipjoints I've ever seen. Love your style.

I really dont know how to express my admiration Jared. Love everything about it. Can´t help but wonder how good your #100 is going to be:thumbup:

I comment on all your knives and still don't own one (yet!) but this is gorgeous. Your photography is sweet too :D

Thanks everybody!

You need to remedy that. :D;) And I owe the pictures to my photographer wife who lets me borrow here nice camera every once in a while.

I like the sandwich and the blades shape
really nice knife, made with passion and very well, congrats

I imagine one in black G-10 and green canvas, like a fixed blade I have...

Can't stop looking at this one J. The white/black/natural combo for the scales is just ridiculously classy, don't know how else to put it. Knocked it out of the park man, I'm sure whoever owns it (even you!) will be stoked
