slip joint w/warnie and amber elk

[Bruce Bump]

I just finished this one. All stainless with Sandvik 12c26 blade and spring sporting a Paul Bos heat treatment. The scales are Culpeppers Amber dyed Elk antler. What do you think?

Only suggestion is to put more of the antler patterned material into the slabs... I'm just another maker and your knives are awesome, so take that as a suggestion from a maker/collector......

I did try to leave some pattern on but I had to slim it down after screwing up the pins and replacing them twice. Each time I did that the pattern got less and less. Hey not everything comes out as planned, know what I'm saying? :grumpy: I really like how slim and trim it is now though. Feels so nice in the pocket.

I sent some more stag and elk to Culpeppers for more amber dyeing. I love this color. Its red just under the surface and goes to white the deeper ya go.
