I just finished this one. All stainless with Sandvik 12c26 blade and spring sporting a Paul Bos heat treatment. The scales are Culpeppers Amber dyed Elk antler. What do you think?

Bruce,

You are taking to these slip joints like a duck takes to water.

This knife looks great and I'm not saying that just so I get a better chance to win that custom made Bruce Bump fixed blade for a mere $5 dollars.......

OH ya and I heard it will be sporting some Ken Hurst impeccable engraving ......: -

Boy I hope I can win that beauty. - ;)

Keep up the great work.

Todd

Gee Bruce, it sort of has an old look to it. I'm here if you want someone to give it to.
Very nice "old" I will add. Frank

Bruce, Really Awsome slippy!!
Only suggestion is to put more of the antler patterned material into the slabs... I'm just another maker and your knives are awesome, so take that as a suggestion from a maker/collector......

I did try to leave some pattern on but I had to slim it down after screwing up the pins and replacing them twice. Each time I did that the pattern got less and less. Hey not everything comes out as planned, know what I'm saying? :grumpy: I really like how slim and trim it is now though. Feels so nice in the pocket.

Thanks Bear
I sent some more stag and elk to Culpeppers for more amber dyeing. I love this color. Its red just under the surface and goes to white the deeper ya go.
