I just got my split pea lighter in the mail from County Comm and its going to fit the bill for me perfectly. I just have a question for those of yoi that purchased one from them. There is no flint in the flint tube and no screw in the bottom of the tube either. I can but flints, no big deal, but the screw?? Does the bottom of the lighter hold the flints in with out a screw? Just wondering.

That dosn't seem right. I don't have CountyComm ones but my cheap $2 DealExtreme ones have them in there. I'd send them an email I hear they have great customer service.

If you have an old lighter laying around for parts you might be able to scavenge a screw from it. I think that's what I had to do after loosing mine.

Yeah, I can see the tube, there's just no screw or flint in it.. What kind of lighter did you scavenge a screw from?

I honestly can't remember, it may have been a zippo but I'm just guessing. Sorry I'm not much help.

Too lazy to take one apart but should be a screw AND a spring for flint tension...a lose flint rattlinn' around won't get it, IMHO.
