Once again I seek you divine wisdom.

Can you recommend some knives based on what I like?

It should be about 4" closed, have bolsters and wooden handle.

Maximum two blades, preferably on separate springs because it makes the handle wider. The blades can be placed side by side, or in opposite ends. It can also have only one blade.

I live in Europe, and lots of online store wont ship outside of the states. If you know about any stores selling a recommended knife, and ships to Europe please let me know. If a knife only is available at stores only shipping inside the states I'll have to find a middleman.

EDITED: I like spear points and wharncliffes. I have a S&M herritage and a GEC85 with spear points and a GEC55 with a wharncliffe. This is just to give you an idea of what I like. I also like the blade shape on sodbusters.

Since you specified a maximum of two blades, does that mean you are also considering single blade knives? If so, no need to look outside of Europe. You can get Laguioles, Chambriards (Compact or Compagnon), or Corsican Vendettas from France. All meet your criteria and look to be beautifully made.

Canal Street Cutlery Muskrat in Cocobolo wood. Right at 4 inches closed with two identical blades and a single spring.

kamagong, I edited my first post for clarification. The laguioles knives I could see in an image search don't appeal to me. there's something about the handle. The Chambriards on the other hand, they look amazing! Definitely on my list.

Railsplitter, that knife just doesn't flick my "I NEED THIS!" button.

medicevans, I checked them out and saw some that I might buy. I had to use google translate to read it. Here's a weird part of a description: ...and a strong Holzbeschalung from insensitive bubinga wood. I bet Holzbeschalung is the next big thing in knives.

anyways, please come with more recommendations if you have any.

GEC Missouri Trader (#42) w/cocobolo scales; it has two blades, but they are a clip point and drop point(?). I love mine--picked it up from an online merchant which I don't think I can mention per the rules, but here is a hint: they also sell pocket slips that have the initials of their shop emblazoned on the beautiful brown leather ( a K, an S, and a F)... I have both aforementioned items and love them.

How much are you looking to spend? What type of steel do your prefer?
If you have a high limit I would go into the custom world and get exactly what you want, if not we need some more info:D

Queen Cutlery do a range of knives in Zebrawood: Teardrop, Trapper,Copperhead, Mountain Man.

GEC 23 or 73 in Coco, Ebony, snakewood and others.

As for the Chambriards, don't hesitate, they are superb. Compagnon should suit you, it's big.

I would go for one of GECs knives. They have several that would fit your specs and their quality is very good. They are also easy to find.

Edit- poster above beat me to it, with pics!!

The good news being, KnivesShipFree is now a supporting Dealer here, so you can say their name right out loud. :)

Oh, good, because I like doing business with them. So, yeah, that trapper is great and the cocobolo is beautiful; it is in my left front pocket right now, in the slip. My SNG is in my right... I go for a modern/traditional balance... :)

Check out KSF... These are available there. How do you feel about the #73 pattern? 3 3/4" closed with ~3 inch blades.
Ebony wood and 1095

American Walnut and 440c

What about the #53 patterns mentioned? I like this 4 1/8" #53 Cuban pen as it feels like a single blade knife with an extra pen blade there for when you need it. When using the main blade the pen is unnoticeable. Its only a single spring but you said single blade knives are ok...

What are your thoughts on the Eureka Jack? Its smaller than you asked for but comes with a spear blade and coping blade.

I'm considering a #53 like the one in the picture above, but also one like this:

The 73 is also something I'm considering.

The Eureka Jack just seems a bit to small.
