I have an 80's era Battle-Axe 2 blade gunstock jack. This is a sweet one. A real quality piece. The main blade is stamped and screened "Mountaineers Are Always Free" in black enamel and surrounded by gold leaves. Main blade (3") also is stamped "Battle-Axe Brand" with the crossed axes symbol at the base of one side, and "Shouse and Hardin Germany" on the other side. Blade are sharp and have not been sharpened or used.
-Scales are a pretty reddish bone.
-Pen blade is 1 7/8" and is serial stamped "281".
-3 1/2" closed.
-I would rate the condition as excellent +.
SPF to my man OTTO
