Recommendation? Slipjoint classes/smiths?

Hey all, I’m in norcal and it’s kind of a barren desert for knife makers. I’ve been getting into slipjoints but seems most resources for face to face are in socal. I guess I’m looking more for a community of like minded people rather than classes where we can meet and discuss and share ideas and stuff we’re working on. If any of you know of anything in or around the bay area who are interested please reply, maybe we can get something going.

You might check the Sacramento area. A brief search turned up a knife maker near Travis Air Force base. His site is called Running Man Forge. He may have more information. You might also try Googling "Northern California knifemakers"
 
I’ll have to give Mike a call, Visalia is kind of a drive but for a class I don’t mind a but of travel.
 
Look up nick anderson or nandaknives on IG he’s in eureka ..
