Looking for something that goes with this. I love a strong back spring (Forest Jack) and prefer steel liners.

That's a beast of a fixed blade.. another option is Schatt & Morgan 71 John Henry express auto in black G10.

Oops, not a slipjoint... but is a complimentary traditional to consider.

How about a TOPS Tac-Raze folding knife? 1095 steel and black G10 handles. About 4 inches.

In keeping with the Kabar look, I think I need a Camillus Demolition knife.

For something new other than the little #14 Boys knife you have, I'd wait for one of the GEC 2-blade #54 that are scheduled for production.

Been looking at the #48 Weasel and like it. There is a two blade version scheduled. That'd be a nice companion slippie too. In case haven't figured it out, I like two blade slippies, but in the case of each listed, there are single blade versions.

I just had a brilliant idea...have a custom Demo Knife made...

That'd be pretty cool. In the meantime Camillus ones are cheap and readily available.

Demo knife is a good call -- you might talk to Esnyx and see if that's a pattern he'd be willing to consider.

As a combat vet, that pair is nostalgic... of a time before I was born LOL.

TBH, I thought I had one here I could send you and spent 10 minutes looking before posting that.
I am the only member of my immediate family who did not serve during an official time of war.

A vintage Remington Bullet knife would pair great.

Good idea. There is the Case/Bose Wilfred Works lock-back hunter. Steel liners, big blade, riff on the Remington, premium steel. Not a slipjoint though, but a lock back.
