So I have been trawling these pages looking at pictures of the 2011 Traditional BF Knife with envy (I joined the forum late in 2011 and took ages to actually get involved in it); because of its perfection. A single blade and a bottle opener. I have only ever seen SAK type versions of this or pocket knives with all sorts of gizmos, but just those two on their own make for such a sweet looking package which appeal to me so much. Two of my greatest joys; pocket knives and beer.
I know that there is no sane person who would ever part with one of the 2011 BFs so I ask you all this......

Are there other types out there, because I can't find any?

You're a lucky man to have such friends Jack. Some fine examples there too. I missed that thread on my searches and it is giving me plenty of ideas.

If the moderators don't mind me covering old ground, please post your pictures of more of the same.

I was also late to the party. I lusted for that knife and was always late in the auctions till I sent a member an email after he was first to respond. I offered a price for that knife he could not refuse and it now resides with me. The price of the knife long forgotten and I always smile when I use it. Good luck in your search for that 2011 forum knife.

This years budget has been blown and we're not half way through the year. Still should anyone make me an offer...

You're too late for me, I bought 7 and sold or traded all of them. It just didn't do it for me.

Oddly enough, my very first pocket knife was a spear with screwdriver/caplifter. It was an International Paper giveaway, but was pretty decent with cellu-pearl scales. Can't remember the make but it wasn't colonial or imperial.
