I have a red celluloid 3 blade stockman which rocks! Great walk and talk and a very handsome knife and not too pricey either. I have done many online searches and the only Kissing Cranes I can find are celluloid handled stockman, trappers and whittlers. Is that the extent of their line? Anyone know of a good source for these knives? I don't hear a lot about them hear, slipjoint talk is usually of Queen or Hen and Rooster. thanks

I've also seen Copperheads under their celluliod line. I know their line use to be a bit larger, but they've seemed to scale back in recent years.

SMKW seems to carry the largest amout of the patterns.

HTH:D:).

Maybe because Robert Klass/Kissing Crane make the Hen and Rooster knives, they are focusing on that line as far as slipjoints are concerned. Just a thought.

I have a few Kissing Crane slipjoints with jigged horn handles. I have seen some with very nice stag and bone handles. Recently I have only seen the celluloid ones. If you want one with a natural handle material check ebay, there are usually some to be found there.

I bought several KC's from M. Turber awhile back. I believe they were issued in "95. Most were done in nice European stag, a couple in bone, and one in yellow celluloid. I sold the larger stockmen and trapper models but kept a small congress in stag and a small whittler w/the yellow handle. Very nice users if you like carbon steel blades - I prefer SS. Quality is quite comparable to any of the top Germen makes. I should add that each knife came dull OOTB and required sharpening.

Esav,

Yup I love those stiletto's, I have a stag one on order as we speak. Should have the auto version w/ damascus blade today! That one is for my dad's Birthday though. :(

I'm too good of a son. :D
