Slipjoint repair

I’m not sure if this is the right section to post this, I’m still very new to the site. But I have an old Remington slipjoint that needs some repairs, mostly just cleaning up and new scales. I’d love to get some micarta scales and have the old shield from the broken scale put it on the new ones. Does anyone know where I can find someone to get this done? Looking for someone who knows what they are doing and not going to take off with it lol.

I do knife repair and restoration, but you won't like the price.
There are others here who can do what you want.

I would contact Glennbadd on this forum. He does stunning work on slipjoints at a reasonable price. His wait time can be a while but worth it. Look in the Traditional sub-forum for some of his work.--KV

I recommend Glennbad highly! He has done two special knives for me and his work is second to none.
