Looking for a new small pocket knife with easy to zero force pull.

Two knives that come to mind are the spyderco roadie and spyderco air. Any others?

Eh?.... The Spyderco Air, sadly discontinued, is a wonderful liner lock.

The newer GEC knives have a much easier pull than their old ones. I prefer a stouter pull, personally. It seems like newer Case knives (those without a halfstop) have pretty light pulls too.

I would submit for your perusal the Case Slimline Trapper. A very friendly slip joint with still enough handle and blade length to be a "real" knife.
I was wrong to ignore them for so long as too skinny and once I got one in my hand I ordered a second one. One is smooth polished black for looks and the other in black micarta.

PS: pocket friendly to ! Doesn't require a belt pouch unlike my full size Trappers.

Why don't you try an Opinel? Several sizes to choose from, some material choices for the handles and.... Cheaaaaaaaaaap! You cqn have them in carbon steel or stainless.

Unless the handles are swollen (don't get them wet before treating them with oil or wax), they are very easy to open (nail nick).

The Urban is a great little knife. I missed out on the original K390 sprint, but eventually was able to get one. It won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. It’s small enough that I consider it a “small” knife, but the Spydiehole is average sized so it’s plenty easy to open one handed, with a “pull” of 4, maybe even a 3.

I don't carry many slippies, but my favorite is very easy to open. I don't know if they're still around, but the CRKT Liong Mah #5 is very easy to open.

Does it have to actually be a slipjoint ?
If not then I'd suggest a lockback, usually unless it's just too tight lockbacks are easy to open.

The Roadie is actually what I had in mind after reading the thread title. I’ve had mine for just under two years now, and it is a wonderful little knife. Opens easy and smooth, has no wiggle, and takes a nice keen edge.

The Pingo is very good as well. I have both, and they are irreplacable to me.

I just did a search for Spyderco Pingo Elmax and found a great deal...

I always found d my SAKs easy to open.

There are Buck 110s with ez-open notches. Just Google it and you find it, not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to them. Not exactly a slipjoint but may interest you.

I think the Spyderco slipjoint may be one of the better options with the large spydie hole to grip and open the blade. There is also the Byrd Tern slipjoint as well.

The Viper EZ Open from Collector Knives might interest you.

It has a very easy pull, operating on a detent system, rather than a backspring.

I also like my new Lionsteel Otnat, also a CK exclusive, which has a fairly easy pull as well. Similar to a SAK.
