Just killing some time this afternoon and was wondering what guns you all like to carry with your slip joints. Would love to see some pics of your slip joint and gun combinations. I personally carry a Sig p232 with my slippies. Will post my pic later tonight when home as the folks around me would not appreciate me pulling it out for a quick picture at the moment...lol

My old pinned barrel .38 bodyguard. Nice and comforting, and I think Bogy would have approved. Knives are old school Hen and Rooster half stickman and the forums knife from a few years back.

Love that bodyguard cant beat the blue on those older smiths, used to have a 36 I believe it was with the three inch barrel wish I hadn't sold it.

Finally got home and was able to snap a pick before the sun went down.

Yep, no guns here guys. Off to Gadgets and Gear we go.

Glock 26 or Colt Govt .45 typically. Knives? One of my GECs, the 55, 48 Trapper, Pemberton, 92 Eureka Jack or the spey TC Barlow. :)

Jackknife, that Bodyguard is a superb looking pistol. Shrouded hammer seems like the best of both worlds. J frames go nicely with all things minimalism it seems.

It get a kick out of the traditional knife and untraditional gun photos. It is interesting to see what people like. I like all of the photos though.

Thanks, that was my thoughts way back when I bought it. I've always loved the old school revolvers. They always work.

My old model 60 from 1972. They didn't have any shrouded hammer's back then in stainless, so I had the hammer bobbed. It's traveled a lot of miles with me over the years. The knife is my damascus Case peanut that is my precious!

Excellent Thread!!!

I took this picture a while back in a place I like to hike (GREAT animal watching).

The revolver is a late sixties era model 19 .357 Combat Magnum with Pachmayr grips next to a Northfield #531410 in Brown Bone. Sadly, I have since tradded the Smith for another gun that will need to end up in this thread sooner or later:D.

Looking back, I wish I had of snapped a pic without the ZT "cluttering" things up! ;)
