Alright folks - I'm looking to break into the slippie world with more than a Case. The two blade designs that I find most useful among the knives I have now are the Sheepfoot and the Spey blade. If at all possible I would like the two blades on opposite ends of the knife.

What sub $200 knife would fit the bill? I am open to any maker and/or company but would love a custom. Please let me know if $200 is totally unrealistic.

I am a huge fan of bone handled knives in a light or green color. Steel is negotiable, but i'd rather have a higher quality blade in lieu of a a higher quality handle (if that makes any sense)

I look forward to hearing any suggestions you may have.

Thanks in advance.

If you can find a custom maker that can make a decent stockman for $200 let know:D But I'm assuming you want a 3 blade knife

On a serious note I'd look at Vintage Case Stockmans with the sheepfoot and spey combinations along with a clip blade master. Vintage (1970 and before) Case knives are in a separate category from those past that period.

Depending on the size you want I'd look at the following patterns: 6344, 63087, and 6375.

Thanks Durwood - I'll check out those patterns. I don't have an vintage knives, so it would be cool to pick up some, especiall if it's a design that an really looking for.
