Hi there!
I'm new to this great forum! i'm from germany and started collectig as a kid every knife that i could find.. SAK's, butterfly, italo-style spring-blades, scandinavian knives etc. nothig high end, but useable. know again i bought myself a CRKT point guard - and love it!
but there come my question:
flipping the knife, the locking liner sometimes slippes over the tang to the other liner... the blade still has no play, but i think that's a question of time!
how can i fix that by myself???
i think sending my knove to CRKT from germany, getting fixed it will last a century... and cost shipping.
So, how can i fix that by myself?

i want that knife lasting a lifetime!
thanks a lot - gonzo!

Welcome to the Forums, surfer!:)

Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything you can do to correct your situation. As long as it locks up well with no wobble, I think you will have to live with it..Otherwise, as you said, a trip back to CRKT would probably cost you more in shipping than the knife originally cost.

Also, and this is just my 2 cents, alot of "flicking" can lead precisely to the situation you refer to.

Best of luck with the Point Guard.
