Got a question,I worked in a jewelry manufacturing plant that had a slitting saw to cut gold beads,I believe the kerf of the blade was .20 thousands thick.I can find all kinds of blades,Does anyone know who manufactures a saw? We're talking where the blade is vertical to the work piece?Similar to the Gryphon saw,Which is primarily for glass cutting.I was thinking of a more precise way of cutting the short leg of the lock face on a folder. :D Thanks,Rick.

Rio Grande sells thin disks and at different diameters and thicknesses. I had some 1.5 inch by .030 that worked great for cutting locks...Ed

Hi Rick,
I generally use two "Can't Twist'm" clamps to hold .100 material to the liner as a guide. The edge of my straight edge is ground square. This process saves discs. Wear a respirator, it seems that all the dust is directed right to your face...Take Care...Ed
