sliver grippers?

They definately work, and work well, but whether you want to add it to your keyring is another story :)

My wife and I both prefer to have one on the ring. Very handy a few times, but of course mostly dead weight until that AHA moment.

Add another vote for on the keyring.

Used mine 3 times this year.
Once for a fishbone in my gum.

Once for a steel sliver in my thumb.

Once for holding a tiny nut still, while I threade a bolt.

[I'm in the UK, and found the best place to source them from was woodcraft.com - they did cheap postage...]

Wife and I have them on the keychain. I don't think they take that much space on the keychain. They are worth their weight in gold when you need them. I think you can get them at www.survivalkeychain.com. I picked mine up at Campmor in Northern NJ.
