Man these for forums seem as dead as a door nail. Soooo, I'll post a pic or three of my new SS4 and sheath from Rainwalker.
As you probably know, the SS4 is one of only a couple of Scrap Yard knives to be made of INFI. I haven't shown the blade because, if you've seen one SS4, you've seen them all. It did not come particularly sharp and is covered in that black "tactical" goo. The blade length is 4" and it's .20" thick. To me, the name "Street Scrapper" suggested a design that could be easily carried beneath a shirt or coat, like Busse's original Mean Streets. Sadly, the grips on this knife prohibit concealment because, while comfortable, they are just too big and thick. A slim, smooth Micarta or G10 would have been a better choice, in my opinion.
The sheath is my first from Rainwalker Creations. It is very well made and fits the knife perfectly. The knife snaps securely in place and there are no rattles. The clip provided holds the knife securely as I hike from the recliner to the fridge.
