Slowing down direct drive grinder

I am getting prices to have a 3" drive wheel made for my GIB (Grinder in a Box) to slow it down. Anyone else have a need for a 3" drive? These will have 5/8" bore, keyed, 2-1/2" wide. Will be cheaper if I get more than one.

A tip on belt brands. I run both of my grinds pretty slow. You will find that the Norton Blaze belts are not near as effective as when your machine runs at a fast speed. In the ceramic belts, I have found the 3M belts to last longer. Frank
