Slowly falling in love with small knives

So I have always liked having bigger folding knives ( especially length wise and blade length)
I love my endura and dejavoo which i carry very often, and have owned big knives in the past for my edc.
But recently i started carrying a knife that i got a while back but didnt really like at first till i started carrying it a week ago.
Its the spyderco Poliwog, pretty small knife!
I have really big hands ( im 6'2) and never really thought i would enjoy carrying something so small. But i am falling in love with it! It completely disappears once in my pocket as if i didnt even have a knife! weighs close to nothing and yet packs a great punch, perfect for alot of my edc task. I know it isnt the best in the small knife category but it has gotten me very interested in getting another small knife like it.
So i am curious about your opinions on small folders. Are there any specific ones i should look into buying? and do you prefer a small knife to a bigger one for edc?
Let me know what you think!

Kind of depends on what you consider small. The Spyderco Sage 1 is the most impressive knife I've owned in the 2-3" range.

I think small knives are great. Easier and less conspicuous to carry.

But I go through phases where I'm all about small knives for a while. Then a couple months later I'm infatuated with larger knives.

I appreciate both.

Delica, super blue is with me a lot I forget I have it on me till I'm changing to go to bed.

I definitely prefer smaller knives, My stider PT is top 2 of my favorite knives the other being my small insingo but the added choil makes it feel bigger than it is.

I've mentioned this previously, but I am quite a fan of the Caly 3/3.5. Prefer the 3.5, but his little brother is a pleasure too. Also, comes in vg-10, which I thought was the steel used in the Poliwog, so bonus for you if you're a fan of that offering.

I go through phases of liking small knives. One day I'll love my Cryo and Mini Grip, next day I'll only look at my 0200. Mood, er, knife swings.

I'm a BIG fan of small knives.

Never thought I'd develop an interest in small traditional slip joints, but I am.

Small traditional slip joints give you a lot of cutting in a small pocket friendly, people friendly, and hand friendly package. You can get two, three, or even four different blades in a 3 1/2 inch package weighting in at 3 to 4 ounces.

It's funny how everybody has a different definition of small. I think of my BK14 as small.

I'm 6'4" 230 and love my Benchmade Ritter mini-grip and my Spyderco Techno. One I always recommend to people that like a small knife feel but want to pack a bigger blade is the BM 940/941. It's probably annoying how many times I post it, but it is light, thin, tough, disappears in the pocket and packs a big blade. Being as having bigger hands too, the 940 gets a lot of pocket time.

Let's face it, the majority of us, for edc, can do fine with a tradional smaller slipjoint. It's the truth.

Out of all my high end knives and customs, the one I always have on me is my Cold Steel Tuff Lite. Seriously one of my favorite knives, and only about $20!

I like small folders too.
They are very suitable for the EDC purpose.
I'm trying to deciede between Spyderco Sage 1 and EnZo Birk 75 (carbon fiber) for X'mas present to me.

No! It's NOT THE truth. It's YOUR truth.

If it doesn't fit my hand, it's useless. I need a four-inch handle. The large Sebenza is just right.

Most walk around with oversized, overbuilt knives only to cut pieces of string, a piece of tape, or it's an ego thing. we're all guilty of it.
makes you feel like a tough guy.
