So I just got a bowie last week. I love it, but I went to use it today at work and when I pulled it out I noticed there was a scale screw missing! Son of a bitch! It looks like its a male+female type screw cuz the female part was still stuck in my knife. Its the very last scale screw on the knife behind the clip. Im bummed, I just got this knife. I guess from now on I need to check all the screws on new knives make sure they're tight. So what do I do? Or rather what can I expect? I emailed them. I'd buy one if I had to, do they even have replacements for sale? Can you get them? Even for overseas models?

Wow that is the first time I've heard of that happening. Don't worry, Spyderco W&R will take care of you.

I hope so. I've searched my car and my house for the damn thing its drivin me nuts!!! I read that they don't have screws for the overseas models in golden but I hope that's not the case cuz I haven't even had it a week. I can't believe it was so loose from factory that itd just fall out. I mean the knife is functional without it but for some reason I'm super bummed. Ima go to work a few minutes early so I can search the floor around my press. Aaaarrrg! Annoying as all hell. They stopped with the loctite and now the screws are fallin out! Just can't win in this world. It seems minor, but I dunno, just one of those things that drives ya nuts. Like where the hell did I lose it! Damn... Anyone ever get replacement screws for a tai chung model? Just knowing that its possible will give me a lot of peace. Thanks

I once lost a screw from a Para2. Just wasn't there one day.
I emailed Spyderco and they mailed 4 screws to me in NZ, cost me US$5 for postage.
I did also get a Taichung pocket clip put on a clipless Domino I sent in for servicing, so I think they will have what you need.

On the Slysz Bowie, the frame screws are all male with double female, D barrels that go through the back spacer. Just FYI if you were ever wondering :D

Wow tho, I emailed em and they were super fast about it told me if they had em theyt ship every 5 days or so. I have a feeling they have em so hopefully my brand new bowie will be complete once again soon.
