I don't have a website up yet, but I've got a couple more knives displayed @ Bladegallery.com. Thanks for lookin,
Bob Bizzell

Oooohhhh, that's purdy! Do you make your own damascus? It's a beautiful pattern.

Hey Bob, beautiful knife. Is it mortised tang or framed? It looks like something is between the scales in the pic. I'm hopeing to learn "jelly roll" and such stuff this fall at the Arkansas school. So far all I can do is fold fold fold; my stuff is simple. Great knife.

t- thanks for the kind words. Yah, it's my steel. I probably couldn't afford to buy it if I had to get it from someone else!

mitch- hey, you're no slouch, yourself...I've seen some really nice knives, here lately, with your name on em! BTW, it's a frame handle (probably shoulda popped a couple pins through the tang/ center of handle, also, but this knife fought with me from beginning to end and I thought I might end up pushing my luck). If you're going over for Donn Fogg's damask class, you should be in for a real treat. He'll fill your brain with all kinds of sick, perverse things that you can do to patternwelded steel!

It'll be well worth your time.

Thanks, guys, glad you like it.

John- this was a comissioned piece. When I post new ones, I'll make sure to say if it's for sale or not.

Bruce- Good to hear from ya. Congrats on the js stamp! The little bowie won't be with me in Missoula, but I've got some ideas for some other cool steels if I can get some time away from the regular orders.

Pardon me, but the references to Missoula make it sound like there's going to be a knife show there in the near future. Can anyone provide me the details? Doubt I can make it, but it could happen.

Thanks,

That is a great looking knife...(understatement of the year)!!
The eye travels up and down it with out interuption...smooth lines. The guard is just the right size. And that patternweld is fantastic!

Bruce, you had a hand in making this knife, whether you know it or not...there's a really nice vine that runs down the spine of this blade and it was your tutorial that made it happen

. Jellyrolls aren't that hard, they just require a press and a set of square dies. If you are interested in a more in-depth description, email me. I'd write it down here, but it could get long winded and I don't want to bore everyone!

Hi Guys,

I commissioned Bob to do this piece. As nice as it looks in the picture, it is much, much better in the hand. This is absolutely top rate beautiful work, an exquisite knife. Thanks again, Bob!!!
