I have a large 21 micarta and cant decide which smaller crk to get, small 21 insingo or mnandi? Id like to get both! But funds dont allow, so if you had to choose between the two which do yall prefer?

That is a hard choice. Those are both great knives and it would be hard to pick. I guess if its a second carry then get a Mnandi. If its instead of carrying the large 21 unless it was for wearing dress clothes you might be happier with the Insingo.

Small 21 here too

Depends. What will you be using it for? When and where will you be carrying it? If you want something for office carry go with the Mnandi. If you want something for the shop - go with the small. If you will be carrying it in shorts for the summer - Mnandi. General carry around the house and constantly tinkering - the small. Etc.

Th Mnandi is going to be lighter and very nice looking. With the small you will be able to open one-handed; if a double stud you will be able to do it one-handed with either hand. The Mnandi is stouter than it looks but may lack in the gripping department compared to the small if applying heavier forces.

Good luck!

Honestly my large 21 is my heavy duty working edc, so the mnandi or small 21 would just be for light edc when wearing shorts in the summer because id prefer something thinner and lighter

Here's a picture for comparison. OK, maybe all smalls aren't always lagging in the looks department.... (This is an old style nick and a small Classic, but the size and shapes are still valid.)

Small 21 Insingo. It's the perfect small EDC. A Mnandi is a great knife for the office, but if I'm out and about I'd much rather have a small 21.

If you already have a Large, then I would say a Mnandi for light carry and dressier events... :)

I think the Mnandi is such a smart looking knife, especially for the office or church
