I had a S25 and it was great and i sold it/traded and have pondered about that. I probably should have kept it, id say i nearly regret it, but it is production and can be bought again.(slightest regret?)

Anyway been pondering about the wisdom of swapping it out, and then i just start looking more into the small 21 insingo. Im pretty sure i have to have it. How soon depends on how much i like the BM Valet that the local shop has coming in. I hope i do because I have been more of over 3" blade kinda user but now a days i cant make up my mind about which one knife i want to carry and a small knife would go well with my regular sized knives. The BM valet looks potentially real nice, and i know CRK makes them REAL NICE.

I guess im just posting about it because thats step one. Might go work a couple street corners and put the process into high gear

If you enjoyed the 25 but want a smaller knife check out the new Inkosi. It's basically a small 25 and would fit your role perfectly.
The small 21 is obviously an excellent knife as well I have a few myself, just giving you options. Not a fan of the toucan Insingo blade shape but no doubt it's practical and popular.

i see it and its interesting, but finger groove placement which was fine on the 25 may not translate well in small and i know the grind is hollow, but i i get more utility out of blade not so over stout. The narrower blade and the blade shape of the insingo more specifically has my interest. All the rant and raving about the 21 and ive only had the 25!

I could be wrong about the blade being too thick, but ill see how they do over time from users.

Thanks

If the heavens smile upon me then one of them will come up on the exchange when the money is more available

I am currently carrying a large Insingo and I must say that it's the best knife I have owned thus far. I never really warmed up to the blade shape and could never bring myself to buy one. Aesthetically it's not very pleasing. But.......I had to try one.

Lete say this......I have no idea why I waited so long. It's such a great blade for everything. I have done food prep, cut up cardboard at length, coolant hoses, vacuum lines, plastic package strapping. I even pried with it some yesterday when I was uncrating a new CNC plasma table. I had to pry on some heavy plastic webbed straps to cut them.

It worked amazingly well!!

I would say that the small insingo is about the best all around EDC!!!

I bought my first when they first came out. I liked it but at the time it was another nice knife in the rotation including a couple of other Large sebbies and striders. As time went by I found myself carrying the small Insingo more and more. When my car was broken into and it was stolen I told myself I had plenty of good blades to fill its purpose and I went a year using them, but just couldn't shake how perfect the Insingo turned out to be and I finally replaced it last week. Point is, they can be an acquired taste but nothing else compares for me right now. (Though I gotta try a carbon fiber.)

I think the insingo looks great but I think Spyderco looks great

Insingo after all the knives I've traded through just screams useful

Right now I want to carry my nilakka and sb stretch but they both are useful for the same tasks. So I figure I may as well carry a small knife and a large or regular knife

That nilakka I slices like satans mom is mad at him
