Hey guys I just purchased a Small 21 Snakewood inlay today and I'm just curious how many other people have a snakewood inlay and how much they love them, I think snakewood has great detail to it.

Thanks!

"what my knife is worth" threads cannot be posted or asked by non paying members, sorry man

Welcome to the forum! Don't worry about the resale value, just enjoy the knife:)

Ah ok well than I shall just talk and comment on how awesome it is put together, I have had a hard time finding a snakewood inlay and they are beautiful

Snakewood is one of my favorite inlays, beautiful grain pattern. I have an annual small in snakewood and it is one of my favorites. Sebenzas are well built knives, you won't be disappointed

Snakewood is very nice and the knives are super well built. I wouldn't worry about resale, they hold it well.

I'm going to use it as a daily carry I waited a year to save for it instead of buying less costly knives. I think it'll be worth it

Sorry to say that your pics aren't showing up. Are you using a photo hosting site like photobucket? If so be sure you paste the img link here in the forum.

My first CRK knife was a small snakewood. Loved it, but sold it after it set in the safe for over a year. I just couldn't bear to carry it because it was so beautiful. Still love my Chris Reeve knives but tend to stick to the plain or starbenza versions and use the heck out of them.

Enjoy!

I'm thinking of getting a small traditional knife (think grandpa) in snakewood. Their snakewood is not as nice as CRK's as far as seeing the spots, though. One thing to consider: my Mnandi snakewood - you could see very, very fine lines on it, like planing lines. I've seen these on other snakewoods. So if you get those, it is normal. I sold all my Mnandis, this is an old picture.

Snakewood is the one wood inlay I am most interested in. I'm always a bit hesitant to order unseen from a dealer and they don't seem to show up on the exchange all too often.

Yeah snakewood inlays are backordered 3-4 months from Chris Reeve, I got my beauty at a dealer in Maryland. I love the woodgrain pattern

I ordered my large Snakewood from CRK back in December, she arrived on May 1st. She came with silver hardware and dual lugs. The best part was I requested for inlays with good contrast, CRK delivered!

He did deliver, great contrast, wow that is a beautiful example of snake wood. You got a great knife!
Snake wood being in the top five heavy / densest woods in the world make it a great choose. It is
Beautiful and durable and remain that way for many life times.
Thanks for sharing the photo.
