I've decided to try a small fixed blade to EDC in my messenger bag I carry and have been looking at some of the smaller Bark River knives in 3V. There are several I like, but I figured I'd throw up a thread to get som opinions and whatnot. I'd also thought about maybe instead looking into a custom? Looking for something with nicer wood scales and not tactical looking.

You need to state a size preference. It seems that BR makes a lot of knife models that are just a little bit different in length.

You can probably pick the one in the length that you like and it will be good. I read a lot of positive comments on the brand in general.

I have a couple of Northstar EDCs in 3V and a Bravo 2 Necker in 3V. They're all very nice. The Northstar is probably my favorite because of the length and the spear point blade. I think it's about 7.2" OAL. The handle choices are almost unlimited.

Both of those models are on my short list. Anyone have any member-made knives in that EDC knives in a steel along the lines of 3V?
