small bevel jig

I am new to knife making and currently my only belt grinder is a Rikon 1" belt sander. I am trying to find a small jig that will work with the small work platform the grinder comes with.

Here’s one I found with a quick search

Something like that would be quick and easy, but there are a million different options.

Though I don’t have experience with grinding jigs because I do ALL my grinding freehand.

That looks like it might work. I have a bunch of old files I want to turn into knives.

I used a 2x4 with a bolt through one end for years. Worked perfectly.

or attach a larger piece of metal to your current workrest so it can fit a regular jig.

A Bubble Jig might work for you. You don't need a work rest at all; just set the desired angle and grind. We have lots of videos posted. Check us out or call me. I'm always interested in problem solving.
