I am involved in a deal that is netting me a small BG-42 Seb!!! The seller/trader says it's a Classic. He's a knifemaker himself and I respect his talent and work very much. However, I wasn't aware that BG-42 Sebs came in the Classic model. I though that steel only made it into Regular models. Maybe he meant the BG-42 Seb is a small "c" classic, as in timeless... enduring significance... established importance and value... etc. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks, people.

IIRC, BG42 did come in both the Regular and the Classic style Sebenza... I had one for a while that the trader said was BG42. I think I even saw a birth certificate for it, but don't remember for sure. It was a few years ago.

Don't know which way your knifemaker means his comment, but BG42 was used in both styles AFAIK.

Mine also...Large, Classic, BG42!
Please let me know if you ever want to trade yours for my small, classic S30V. I can add $!

UUUUUHHH .... NO!:D:D

After all these years on my belt I'm just too used to it.

Besides finding another Mayonized BG-42 Seb would be on the hard and expensive side.

There are (poor), pics of it in the "Mayonized Seb" thread just down a little bit.
