2nd build.
It's O1 tool steel, mahogany scales with black fiber liners and brass pins. Last time you commented on the picture quality, is this better? Any critique welcomed!
I'm having some issues getting the transision between pins and scales to come out crisp. Any tips?

S Schultan Are you a maker ? OK, I am just a user, so, don't take it personal. I see several characteristics in your pictures that I can comment on :
1) Full tang : no need for that in this kind of knife.
2) Way too thick stock : no need for that in this kind of knife.
3) A full flat grind is the way to go. Even if you diss the massive original stock.
4) Your pattern is beautiful. The potential is there for a magnificent B&T knife !

gazz98 gazz98 The knife is 150mm long, with around 70mm of cutting edge. It's a flat grind and the blade should be around the 61 hrc mark, but i'm no sure.

I'm learning how to be a maker.

1) I'm not sure what you mean with "no need"? It's full tang for aesthetic reasons and because it's way easier for me to make it.
2) It's 3mm stock, but I agree I should be slimmed down a bit.
3) I agree but I didn't have the nerve to keep grinding. Again, it's only 3mm thick, so I wouldn't call it massive.
4) Thank you. I'll keep at it, and hopefully come up with something decent in the end.

+1
I think of B&T knives as 'feminine' as opposed to 'masculine' hunter/skinners. Almost getting close to filet knives but not really.
Still, nice work!
